Procedures

Individuals or groups who desire to utilize any portion of the campus are to contact the Operations Department at 757-247-2046 to schedule an appointment to tour the facility or discuss the hourly rates pertaining to usage of rooms, buildings or areas of the grounds. All individuals or organizations will be required submit a current liability insurance declaration with the completed Facilities Usage Request form. All documents received will be reviewed for completeness and verification will be made of all pertinent information.

The requestor will receive notification along with the facilities usage terms and conditions within 3-4 business days after receipt of the request. All rental charges are due in the Business Office 14 business days prior to the scheduled event.

If necessary, a meeting with the requestor will be scheduled to finalize plans, tour the areas requested and verify equipment requested for the event.
Please note that VSDBM-H is a non-smoking facility. Alcoholic beverages and firearms are not permitted on the campus.
